Mount Fuji visibility is never guaranteed. On the morning of the shoot, we check live cameras before leaving our Tokyo studio. If the mountain is hidden, the route can be changed to Tokyo, Kamakura or Yokohama when arrangements allow. Image enhancement may also be discussed, but natural visibility and realistic scenery remain the preferred result.

How to prepare for a Mount Fuji pre-wedding photoshoot
Choose priorities before adding stops
Send a few reference photographs and identify your most important scene: a lake, a traditional setting or a clear view of Mount Fuji. Ask the team to check the route before combining distant lakes and villages. More stops do not necessarily mean more time for photographs.
Pack for walking and changes in temperature
Bring comfortable shoes for transfers, a warm layer for breaks, drinking water and any personal essentials. Keep luggage compact and confirm outfit-specific undergarments and footwear with the styling team. Lakeside wind and temperatures can feel different from central Tokyo.
Confirm access and timing
Ask about walking distance, stairs, changing arrangements, photography permission and any admission or location fees before finalizing the route. The sample timetable above is illustrative: travel, daylight, weather and venue access determine the actual schedule. Mention any fixed train, flight or dinner reservation.

How early should we book?
Heart Art’s confirmed early-booking offer gives 20% off when you reserve at least six months in advance. Seasonal offers may vary. The regular booking cutoff is three calendar days before the shoot date, so requests made only one or two days before cannot be arranged.
How much preparation and changing time should we allow?
Hair, makeup and dressing usually take about 1.5–2.5 hours, depending on the outfits and styling. A combined outfit and hairstyle change normally needs about 30 minutes, in addition to travel time when the change happens between locations.
What happens if Mount Fuji is not visible?
On the morning of the shoot, Heart Art checks the Mount Fuji live camera before leaving the Tokyo studio. If the mountain is hidden, the route can be changed to Tokyo, Kamakura or Yokohama when feasible; Photoshop enhancement can also be discussed in advance.
