The Short Answer
Pack lightly. Bring the personal essentials that help you feel comfortable, and leave bulky luggage and unnecessary props at your hotel.
For most couples, the most useful items are comfortable shoes, suitable undergarments, seasonal layers, personal medicine, water, a small snack and a fully charged phone.
Your exact list may change depending on your location, season, outfits and package, so confirm the final details with our team before the shooting day.
The Essentials Every Couple Should Bring
Passport or photo identification
A fully charged phone and portable charger
Any personal medicine you may need during the day
Water and a light snack
Comfortable walking shoes
A compact umbrella if the forecast is uncertain
A small bag that can be carried easily between locations
For the Bride
Choose undergarments that work with the neckline, back and colour of your dress. Nude, seamless pieces are usually the safest choice. A strapless bra or shapewear is optional and should only be packed if it feels comfortable.

Please arrive with clean, completely dry hair unless your preparation instructions say otherwise. Avoid trying unfamiliar skincare or beauty treatments immediately before the shoot.
For the Groom
If your package includes a suit, we will confirm which personal items are still required. Couples bringing their own outfit should check the complete look in advance—including shirt, belt, socks and shoes.

If You Are Wearing Kimono
Kimono preparation is different from wearing a wedding dress or suit. The necessary dressing pieces depend on the rental plan, so please follow the checklist provided for your booking rather than buying special items in advance.
A light, low-neck inner layer can be helpful in cooler weather, but it must remain hidden beneath the kimono. Avoid high collars, bulky thermal wear and thick layers around the neckline.
What to Pack for Each Season
🌸 Spring — A light jacket is useful in the morning and after sunset. Couples sensitive to pollen may also want allergy medicine and tissues.
☀️ Summer — Bring extra water, a small towel and sunscreen. A spare shirt for the groom can make an afternoon outfit change feel much fresher.
🍁 Autumn — Temperatures can change quickly between daytime and evening, so pack a thin layer that is easy to remove.
❄️ Winter — Hand warmers and a warm coat are helpful between photographs. Choose thin thermal layers that stay invisible beneath the outfit.
Shoes Matter More Than Most Couples Expect
A full-day photoshoot can include gardens, shrine paths, city streets, beaches or uneven natural ground. You may wear formal shoes for the photographs, but comfortable walking shoes make travel between scenes much easier.
For Mount Fuji, Hokkaido and coastal locations, footwear may need to suit grass, gravel, sand or snow. We will advise you when the selected route requires something specific.
