Service Description
A traditional Japanese Shinto wedding photography experience, capturing the ceremony, atmosphere and emotions of one of Japan’s most meaningful wedding traditions. Perfect for couples who wish to celebrate their union through an authentic Shinto ceremony while preserving the experience through timeless photography. WHAT’S INCLUDED • Wedding photography coverage • Professional hair & makeup • Bridal kimono (Shiromuku & Iro-uchikake) • Groom’s formal kimono (Montsuki) • Ceremony rehearsal and coverage • Photoshoot within the shrine grounds • Shrine coordination support HALF DAY CEREMONY 4–5 hours Includes preparation, ceremony coverage and photography within the shrine grounds. Ideal for couples seeking a focused Shinto wedding experience. FULL DAY CEREMONY 8 hours Includes full ceremony coverage plus additional portrait photography. A western wedding dress photoshoot and hairstyle change can also be included, creating a complete wedding-day experience. SHRINE CEREMONY FEE Shrine ceremony fees are charged separately and vary by shrine. Before booking, please contact us with your preferred shrine. We will confirm its availability, ceremony requirements and photography regulations. PHOTO DELIVERY HALF DAY CEREMONY • All original photographs will be delivered via Google Drive within 2 days. • The couple may select 30 photographs for professional retouching. • Retouched photographs will be delivered within 7 days after the selections are received. FULL DAY CEREMONY • All original photographs will be delivered via Google Drive within 2 days. • The couple may select 40 photographs for professional retouching. • Retouched photographs will be delivered within 7 days after the selections are received. BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO • If the BTS Video add-on is selected, the finished video will be delivered within 7 days after the retouched photographs have been completed. OPTIONAL ADD-ON • Behind-the-Scenes Video (BTS) — ¥30,000 LOCATIONS Available in Tokyo, Kyoto, Hokkaido and other selected locations. Preferred shrines may be requested, subject to shrine approval and photography regulations. SHRINE-SPECIFIC NOTES • Ceremony schedules, photography permissions and permitted shooting areas are determined by each shrine. • Some shrines may restrict photography during specific parts of the ceremony. • The couple and all guests must respect the shrine’s customs, regulations and sacred spaces.
Cancellation Policy
BOOKING & PAYMENT • A 30% deposit is required to confirm a booking. • Except in the severe-weather or natural-disaster circumstances described below, the deposit and all payments made are non-refundable. • The remaining balance, including confirmed add-ons, must be paid on the scheduled service date. CANCELLATIONS • Cancellations are not accepted after the booking is confirmed. • Except in the severe-weather or natural-disaster circumstances described below, the deposit and all paid amounts will not be refunded. • No-shows are not eligible for a refund. RESCHEDULING • Please contact us at least 3 days before the scheduled service date. • Every client-requested rescheduling is subject to a ¥15,000 rescheduling fee. • Requests made less than 3 days before the scheduled service date cannot be accepted. • The new date is subject to the availability of the assigned team, transportation and location. SEVERE WEATHER & NATURAL DISASTERS • If severe weather, an earthquake, a typhoon or another natural disaster makes the service unsafe or impossible, one rescheduling may be arranged without a rescheduling fee. • If both parties are unable to arrange a new service date, the deposit will be refunded. • Ordinary rain does not qualify for an automatic complimentary reschedule. The team will adjust the route and photography plan according to the conditions whenever it is safe to proceed. • Any safety decision will be made after consultation with the client and based on transport conditions and official information. ON THE SCHEDULED DAY • Late arrival does not extend the scheduled finishing time. • Additional service time depends on team availability. ADDITIONAL FEES • Permits, special-location fees and other pre-approved expenses may be charged separately. • If a wedding dress or kimono is excessively soiled or damaged beyond normal use, a ¥20,000 cleaning fee may apply. • All additional fees will always be confirmed in advance.
